my favorite walk

In case you hadn't already noticed, I'll be a little light on the posting this week. I've been taking some time to catch up with old friends, enjoy my new social life in this new city, and squeeze in a bit of time at my (paying) job as well. I'm very excited for an upcoming trip to Wisconsin to visit with my family, and hopefully meet up with a friend that I've made through this blog; well, I started reading her blog and then she read mine and... I just love the blogging community.

I've never lived by the ocean until just a few short months ago, and I'm relishing every chance that I get to go to the beach. I'm such a water person. We've found our favorite spot on one of the many beaches, and this is the path from the road to the sun, sand and water! It makes me so happy as it comes into view and I know I will soon be relaxing on my beach blanket, practically lulled to sleep by the sound of the waves. Ah, summer! I wish you would last forever.
