I love to ride my bicycle...

... I love to ride my bike!

Well, I will love to ride it soon. I bought in on CL for such a deal; I played pitiful and got $20 off, easy as pie. Yes, most of the time I am completely shameless. Anyway, the bike is a Fuji Cambridge III, a nice medium blue color, and has a comfy seat and gears that shift easily.

a sunny summer day when a girl would bike to a lake and wear a swimsuit like this, swinging out over the water on a rope tied to a tree, plunging into the sparkling cool below. Laughing with her girlfriends and flirting with the boys. A picnic in the late afternoon, pulled from their bike baskets, and a bottle of booze passed around by the boys. Then the ride home, tired and happy, skin glowing from the warmth of a sunburn and thoughts of summer romance...

Oh my, what's gotten into me! The guy said that my bike has been in storage for 15 years, and has never been used. I'm taking it in to the shop where it was originally purchased for a tune up and maybe some new tires. Then I will love to ride my bicycle, I'll love to ride my bike...

p.s. two cloudy days in a row, so I haven't been able to photograph my fabulous finds from the other day. Maybe the sun will come out tomorrow.
