sweet danger

Oh, sweet, sweet little puffs of love. Where have you been all my life? And in addition to being delicious, you insist on being incredibly photogenic, causing me to drop everything and bust out the camera and spend about 45 minutes of my day on a Very Mini Vanilla Meringue photo shoot. Which leads to some quality time with my BFF, Photoshop, and the inevitable blog post to follow about... a tiny puff of sweetness.
After our weekend beach adventure, but before our cruise ship stalking, we made a quick stop at the new Trader Joe's in Virginia Beach. First of all, this is one of only TWO T. Joe's in the area; quite the adjustment from deciding which one of many I wanted to shop in Tucson. We only buy a few essential items from T. Joe's (vegetable goyza, roasted red pepper and tomato soup, various Trader Ming noodle boxes, Indian Fare meals, and now... Very Mini Vanilla Meringues) so at least it isn't a necessary weekly grocery stop.

1 calorie per meringue, 100 pieces per serving. I already threw the container, but I remember that the ingredient list had about 4 items on it. I wonder how easy they are to make.

warning: if you hate a certain lucky "marshmallow" cereal, you might not like these. They are the same consistency as those charms, but I think the vanilla flavor makes them deliciously different. I'm feeling a little silly about posting this, but I mostly just wanted to share the photos... and talk a little meringue with y'all.

I think that the Meringue folks need to hire you as their photographer!

hi Ursula! Meringues are so easy to make! And super fun. Sugar and egg whites. My favorites are little meringue mushrooms sprinkled with a tiny bit of cocoa. Too cute. -- Amanda

Rikkianne- I wish! It was amazing how I got so sucked into photographing them!

Melissa- Do it. You won't be sorry! Buy two cartons because I wish that I had.

Amanda- Hi! I'm definitely going to give it a go, probably involving yet another meringue photo shoot! I hope that all is well with you and your family; I can't believe I only saw your parents once in Tucson.
