I've recently become kind of obsessed with vintage shoe lasts. I love them especially if they have a woman's name/style on them, and high heeled ones are my favorite.
With these sofas, we can seat a large number of people. We put them to the test for a family get together this past weekend.
I moved the painting from the hallway into the living room, and I like it much better.
This is where I sit if the computer is running out of juice, or if I want to listen to NPR (I'm a huge NPR dork) or my music on the real speakers. Otherwise, I'm all over the house; bedroom, workroom, living room... I love wireless Internet. And our Mac! When we got robbed a few months ago, that was the most devastating thing to lose. I even chased the robber (I walked in on it happening) because I knew that he had it. Stupid, I know, but it was an uncontrollable reaction. I didn't catch him. Happy ending: we got a new Mac, but sad because we lost a lot of information and all of our "before" pictures from the new house. Lesson learned: back up your computer often! Oh, and that is "Renee" up on the top shelf. She's a high heel.
We finally have curtain rods up in our bedroom! I've found that it is really hard to photograph the darker painted rooms in my house (bedroom and living room) because the sun coming in is so bright. Darn desert sun!

It's a good move for that picture, the brown paint is really pretty by the blue interior of the desk, and I love your bed!
